Guess What? We are renovating our site, you know what that means, delays, delays. We hope it won't be as bad as last time and we do appreciate all of you for patience with us when we do these things. The hardest part of all this is finding a new "look" and of course making sure all of our products make it on the site complete with pictures (something we have neglected far too long). We now have a nice camera and really have no excuses. So we hope you will enjoy it when we are finished. REMEMBER when this happens that you need to hit your refresh/reload button to see any changes we make. One day you will hit that button and you will see a new site, one day...

The Gang at Gladheart Acres

Many years of experimentation and revision have gone into developing our basic soap recipe. The result is a long lasting, profusely lathering soap comprised of over 45% olive oil along with coconut, palm and castor oils, plus gobs of creamy cocoa butter. Our soaps are handcrafted to retain the natural glycerin, and we never use petroleum products or shortening in our products. Only the very best for you...from our Gladheart to yours!

Welcome to our Alaskan Line of Soaps. We can't say enough about Alaska, there simply aren't enough adjectives to describe its splendor. Our soaps with unique Alaskan names try to capture the essence of differing aspects of this majestic state. Each soap may have a poem, interesting faq's or just simply a tantalizing description of its ingredients. We hope you share our enthusiasm for our state and our soaps. :o)

* Alaskan Midnight Sun: The lengthening days and sunlight playing off the mountains are the inspiration for our cinnamon leaf and sweet orange essential oil soap. Also contains organic oatmeal and finely ground orange peel.

Alaskan Howlin' Husky Dog Soap: We had many requests for an all natural dog soap and we researched a long time to come up with this very special bar to pamper your pooch. We added Neem oil, well known for its ability to soothe hot spots, flea bites, and skin irritations. Of course this soap is absolutely safe for humans too! Try it for Psoriasis and/or eczema.

Matanuska Milk & Honey: The land of the giant vegetables now has a new fame...our goatsmilk and Alaskan raw honey soap scented with honey almond.

* Alaskan Mountain Mint: Cool and frosty like an Alaskan mountain top…our spearmint/peppermint essential oil soap with its green swirls is a year round best seller.

Alaska Wild Rose Hip: A feminine fruity blend of rose and berry studded with ground rosehips and adorned with a rich silky lather.

Butter Creme Oatmeal: This soap is just what your dry skin has been thirsty for! We add gobs of cocoa and shea butters pour in creamy goat milk and stir in finely ground organic oatmeal. Naturally unscented and wonderful.

Essential Shampoo Bar: With 7 females in our home this soap is a necessity! We no longer need a conditioner or detangler since this soap is rich in goatsmilk and natural oils that neither overload the hair nor strip it of its natural oils. This soap is scented with an essential oil blend resulting in a sweet minty aroma.

Lovely Lavender: The timeless essential oil of Bulgarian Lavender in our own goatsmilk soap, lightly swirled with lavender mica.

Lavender Herbal Oatmeal: Wonderful lavender and calendula infused olive oil and creamy goatsmilk is the base for this soap to which we then add organci oatmeal, ground calendula and Bulgarian Lavender essential oil.

Sandalwood: Our goatsmilk soap is scented with sandalwood fragrance and results in a dreamy soap that people buy in handfuls.

Pink Ribbons: Our very special silk enhanced soap is a floral frgrance blend with part of the proceeds from the purchase of the scent going to the Susan G Khomann breast cancer research fund. The soapmaker has dedicated this soap to her grandmother and a favorite Aunt, both breast cancer survivors.

Northwest Blackberries & Creme: A mouthwatering rendition of a summer time treat. We add heavy whipping cream to make a decadent lather. A wonderful soap!

Sweet Baby Bar: This gentle soap starts with calendula and lavender infused olive oil. We superfat with jojoba oil and add a touch of lavender essential oil. Popular with anyone who likes to baby their skin. (Does not contain Coconut Oil)
